How it works
Your first record takes about a minute.
Find the thing you showed up for, say you were there, and -- if you want -- back it up. That’s it.
Step 01
Find it.
Search for the band, team, festival, race or cause -- or the event itself. There are 3,877 events in the catalog so far, and more every week.
Not there? Add it in a few seconds. Old shows count: you can go back as far as you remember.
Step 02
Say you stood.
Tap + I Stood here. That’s a record: dated, yours, and labeled honestly as your own word -- Self-declared.
Add a note if you like. Who you went with, the song they opened with, the weather.
Step 03
Back it up. Or don’t.
Evidence is optional, and a record is never just “verified” -- each one shows exactly what supports it.
Checking in works within 1.5 km of the venue, from three hours before it starts until three hours after it ends. Your phone’s location is compared once and thrown away; the record keeps only that the check-in passed.
Tickets and receipts stay private -- they carry barcodes and names. Photos and videos are yours to share or not.
Step 04
Going to something?
Mark I’m going on any upcoming event. It’s a plan, not a record -- and you’ll see which of the people you follow are going too.
On the day, the event page opens for your record, and you can check in right there. Afterward, your profile asks whether you made it.
Step 05
You decide who sees it.
Every record is Public, Followers, or Only you. Pick a default once, change any record any time.
Anything about voting starts private. You can hide whole categories, or make your whole profile private.
Step 06
Watch it add up.
Your profile turns records into a history: shelves by category, a timeline, year by year -- and, when you follow someone, the shows you were both at.
Got years to catch up on? Backfill adds a run of past events at once. No scores, no rankings -- just what you showed up for.
